An open dialogue was held in Tashkent city on further increasing the effectiveness of systematic work with women
An open dialogue dedicated to further increasing the effectiveness of systematic work with women, discussing existing problems, and strengthening cooperation in this field was organized in Tashkent city.
The event was attended by Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis T. Narbayeva, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Q. Rafikov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. Kattaxonova, members of the Republican Commission, heads of ministries and agencies, the leadership of the Tashkent City Administration, bank executives, district hokims and their relevant deputies, mahalla chairpersons, women’s activists in the mahallas, and representatives of the public.
The main goal of the meeting was to further increase the effectiveness of the system of work with women, openly discuss existing problems in the field, strengthen cooperation between responsible organizations, and define priority tasks for providing targeted and practical assistance to every woman.
🟡During the open dialogue, mahalla chairpersons, women’s activists, and public representatives put forward a number of proposals and initiatives aimed at improving the system.
As noted, such a large-scale open dialogue dedicated to issues of work with women was held for the first time. All proposals and opinions expressed during the discussions were supported by the responsible leaders, and relevant tasks were defined for their practical implementation.
