OFFICIAL STATEMENT
In recent days, reports have been circulating on social media and in some mass media outlets claiming that Arsen Avanesyan, a resident of Yashnobod district, was allegedly fined for landscaping the area and planting trees.
As these
reports misrepresent the true essence of the situation, we provide an official
clarification once again:
During the
inspection, it was established that under the guise of the “Yashil Makon”
initiative, Arsen Avanesyan illegally occupied a 360 sq. m land plot within a
protected area adjacent to the railway. The area was fenced with metal
barriers, light structures were installed, and the site began to be used for
entrepreneurial activities.
It should
be emphasized that any construction works and commercial activities are
strictly prohibited in protected areas adjacent to railways. In other cases,
registration and permission from the authorized bodies are required.
Following
this situation, a court decision was issued, and Arsen Avanesyan was fined in
accordance with the установленной procedure. He was also obliged to dismantle the illegally installed
metal fences and light structures.
At the same
time, it was specifically noted that after the area is cleared of fences and
structures, all planted trees and landscaping works carried out will be
preserved and no trees will be cut down.
The
Tashkent City Administration supports citizens’ initiatives aimed at creating
green recreational areas and provides assistance to such initiatives.
**Please
note!**
The allocation of vacant land plots is carried out exclusively through the “E-auksion” electronic trading platform. Unauthorized occupation of land plots and construction activities may lead to serious legal and financial consequences.
