➡️ In the first phase, it is planned to directly familiarize the population, initiative groups, and project supporters with its details, implementation procedure, proposed areas, relocation conditions, and other important issues.

A working group led by Tashkent City Hokim Shavkat Umurzakov familiarized itself with the activities of the headquarters established in the renovation areas of Yashnabad, Mirobod, and Sergeli districts.

📍 In particular, the activities of the headquarters located in “Jarqo‘rg‘on” mahalla of Yashnabad district, “A. Fitrat” mahalla of Mirobod district, and “Xonobodtepa” mahalla of Sergeli district were inspected.

🧑‍💻 Such headquarters will operate in every renovation area. Their composition includes representatives of all responsible organizations and services: hokimiyats, prosecutor’s office, internal affairs bodies, National Guard, tax authorities, Compulsory Enforcement Bureau, utility services, cadastre, justice, construction departments, mahalla structures, as well as specialists in gas, electricity, water and heat supply, banks, notaries, and other responsible organizations.

✅ The main task of the headquarters is to be on site, conduct direct dialogue with the population, explain the renovation mechanism, answer questions, and record each family’s proposals, concerns, and specific situations.

📊 During meetings with residents, issues such as the procedure for implementing projects, relocation, document processing, compensation payments, deadlines, guarantees, as well as the most convenient and acceptable options for resettling residents were discussed.

Shavkat Umurzakov emphasized that providing citizens with equivalent apartments in ready new houses should be a priority task in the renovation process. This will allow people to move into comfortable apartments in the shortest possible time — preferably within the same district or in a familiar urban environment — without having to wait for years for construction to be completed.
